🎊 The Czech Republic-based companies are expanding their global footprints by establishing operations in Hall County, where we plan to introduce production lines during 2025. A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on March 24 with Martin Kupka, the Minister of Transport, during his mission to the US.
“There are many synergies and similarities between Georgia and the Czech Republic, so Czech companies feel comfortable here. In the last five years, the presence of Czech direct investment has increased from two companies to six – and I believe that more are on the way," says Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Georgia, Monika Vintrlikova.
Libor Zelenka, founder of SILENT–CZECH, emphasized the advantages of his company locating in Georgia: "Since 1996, we have been providing our customers with insulating parts, materials, and components. Our core business is in Europe, but we are working on projects around the globe. With this new Georgia location, our services of consulting, prototyping, and serial and mass production are now available for regional and global customers in North America to enable them to manufacture ‘in the region for the region.’”
"The investments by SILENT and SOPO follow a long-time leader in advanced manufacturing from the Czech Republic, ALBAform. The investment and technology from these Czech businesses are a testament to the highly skilled workforce these companies have found and the welcoming environment for top management and their families," states Tim Evans, CEcD, President of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.
